My name is Daniela Goya-Tocchetto and I'm currently a PhD student in Management & Organizations at Duke University.
Having been born and raised in Brazil, a country with striking socioeconomic inequalities, acquiring a better understanding of how systemic injustices get perpetuated has always been one of my main goals.
It was this deep-seated motivation that drove my path to the study of economics and political philosophy, and finally to the study of social psychology and organizational behavior.
My current research explores the nature and impact of ethical decisions in organizations and society more broadly. I'm particularly interested in the psychological mechanisms that enable the maintenance of unjust organizational and social arrangements.
